This was a great 10 day high altitude trek through some very beautiful landscape staying in very remote villages. My guide Sanjib was very bright and motivated young man, full of relevant information about the landscapes and the people that we saw on the trek.I learnt so much about Nepal and would love to visit again. Mardi himal Trekking Recommened With Nepal Planet Treks and Expedition
I spent about 8 days trekking near the mountain of Machapuchare or also known as "Fish Tail" mountain. It was a nice and relaxed trek with absolutely magnificent views of the mountains. We spent a couple of days walking through a beautiful forest and then along a ridge above tree level. We were hiking above the clouds! The views were stunning and all of our camps were nice and cozy which was especially nice on the cold nights. At our highest camp, some of us went higher to the Mardi Himal base camp. It was nice to be able to get so close to the "Fish Tail" mountain. The sunrises an
d sunsets were also very memorable. I loved this trek!
